Holland Hall Students Winners in 2012 Young People’s Creative Writing Contest
Several Holland Hall students participated in Tulsa City-County Library’s 2012 Young People’s Creative Writing Contest and received awards during a special presentation from Author Jacqueline Woodson, winner of the 2012 Anne V. Zarrow Award for Young Readers’ Literature. Holland Hall Student Beth Cruickshank won first place for her short story, “If I Could Escape,” Grant Gebetsberger won third place for his essay, “Humbling Experiences of Face to Faith,” Tahlia Munoz won third place for her essay, “Oaklawn’s Secret” and Deirdra Kelly won third place for her short story, “Fire’s Tentacles.”
