Holland Hall Sixth in the Nation
Holland Hall raised $22,156 — sixth school in the nation for the most money raised for the American Heart Association through Jump Rope for Heart and Hoops for Heart in 2011-2012.
“This is great news,” said Brian Underwood, Primary School P.E. teacher. “Holland Hall has once again stepped up to fight cardiovascular health!”
Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart is co-sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. The JRFH/Hoops program has been teaching kids the importance of a healthy heart and raising funds for heart disease and stroke research for more than 25 years.
If you would like more information, contact your child’s PE teacher or call the nearest American Heart Association.
