The mission of the Holland Hall Parents’ Association is to be an integral part of the Holland Hall community, through volunteer effort, supports, strengthens and enriches the educational environment of students, parents, administration, faculty and staff. The Parents’ Association organizes and oversees most volunteer work at the school. All parents and guardians of students attending Holland Hall School are considered members of the Parents’ Association.
Fundraising:
Funding for the Parents’ Association is provided by a portion of the student activity fees. Fundraising done by the Holland Hall Parents’ Association includes annual ARTworks, Book Fair, Dutch Treat Auction, and the Dutch Links Golf Tournament.
ARTworks is an event featuring a recognized artist and includes workshops with students, gallery exhibit, Patron Dinner and art sales. Each year a well-known artist is brought to the Holland Hall campus. The artist works with students in groups and one on one. The artist exhibits works for sale in the Holliman Gallery. All grades visit the gallery to see the artist’s works. There is a Patron Dinner and Reception at which attendees see the art and meet the artist.
Holland Hall hosts the state’s largest and oldest used book sale to the community with the annual Book Fair. Books are gathered and sorted throughout the year by volunteers prior to the sale in February.
The Dutch Treat Dinner and Auction is an all school party featuring dinner as well as silent and live auctions. Parents are encouraged to donate to grade level class baskets. Parents, alumni, faculty & staff and Tulsa businesses are also invited to donate items and services to the auction.
Dutch Links Golf Tournament is held every year at a local golf course.
Friend raising:
Volunteers assist in all areas of the school. While volunteering, you also have the opportunity to interact with other parents, make new friends and find out what is happening at our school. Many volunteer opportunities include tasks that require anywhere from as little as 1 hour to as many hours as you are willing to give.
Several Holland Hall events also concentrate on friend raising with events such as the All School Welcome Picnic and Trivia Night.
Trivia Night is an evening of fun and games and an opportunity to socialize with other adult members of the Holland Hall community.
