Playbill
Holland Hall just experienced another banner year for excellence in the arts. Five Middle School students were selected to a National Honor Choir, Four Upper School students were chosen as Oklahoma All-State members, student visual artwork received accolades at regional exhibits and competitions, Upper School Choir members performed at Carnegie Hall, and the Upper School Thespians produced the highly entertaining musical “Anything Goes.”
With the new school year getting underway, you can help us to build upon this excitement and enthusiasm by contributing to the 2010-2011 Arts Playbill. Reservations are now being accepted for featured space in this publication that will be used for virtually every Middle and Upper School student performance in the Walter Arts Center, amounting to more than 20 different performances – and it is read by several thousand audience members.
You may purchase space to advertise a business or to recognize your children in their given arts disciplines. Funds generated will be placed into the Student Arts Workshop Fund (SAW) and used specifically for student workshops in a variety of disciplines, guest performances by renowned artists and to augment normal funding for items such as student travel and uniforms. The SAW Fund is one of the many ways that Holland Hall brings arts to the students and students to the arts.
All information intended for inclusion in the Playbill must be received by September 7, 2010.
Thanks for your support,
Steve Dyer, Director of Fine Arts
