Annual Fund

2011-2012 DreamBIG Campaign
Goal $1.2 million

Every year we will ask you to make an annual gift. The DreamBIG theme reminds us of the importance of why we give. The Annual Fund makes possible an outstanding educational experience for our students, enabling each to pursue their passions and dreams.

Board of Trustees Challenge
Doubles the Impact of Your Gift!

This year the Holland Hall Board of Trustees has enthusiastically come together to offer an exciting two-part challenge to the Holland Hall family to help meet our Annual Fund goal.

• For every new donor, the board will match every gift dollar for dollar up to $500

• the board will make a $500 gift for every previous donor who joins a higher gift level this year

The board will make these gifts up to a maximum of $215,000. Trustess believe deeply in the importance of the Annual Fund enabling Holland Hall to fulfill its potential as the premier independent school in Tulsa and across the country.

Why do we have the Holland Hall Annual Fund?

Holland Hall is an independent school where 85 percent of Holland Hall’s budget is funded by tuition. The remaining 15 percent is funded by voluntary giving to the Holland Hall Annual Fund, interest income from endowments and gifts to Financial Aid. As at most independent schools, the Annual Fund is the largest and most important fund raiser of the school year.

Why support the Holland Hall Annual Fund?

Gifts to the Holland Hall Annual Fund are vital to the school community. Every year the school depends on resources beyond tuition to operate. All Annual Fund gifts are tax deductible.

What does the Holland Hall Annual Fund support?

Annual Fund gifts support a variety of programs, including academics, faculty development, the arts, athletics, college counseling, technology and the library. They allow Holland Hall to:

* Recruit outstanding faculty and provide them with unique professional development opportunities.
* Offer a comprehensive curriculum that is both rigorous and wide-ranging.
* Provide need-based financial assistance for students.
* Maintain our campus and facilities to the highest standards.

Gifts to the Holland Hall Annual Fund help provide the margin of excellence that Holland Hall offers its students.

How much should I give?

Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that everyone contribute an amount that is comfortable for them.

Why do I get more than one solicitation?

Generally, those who make a gift early in the year receive only one regular solicitation. Selected mailings to those who have already made a gift are designed as a thank you and a progress report on Annual Fund gift totals. An opportunity for making a new gift is always provided because many donors prefer to make several smaller gifts rather than one larger gift.

Based on your affiliation(s) with the school, you may also receive more specific solicitations. We do not want to overwhelm you with mail, so we strive to coordinate the timing of various fundraising programs at Holland Hall.
