Mark Your Calendars! Schureman Circle Donor Recognition Event “An Evening of the Arts” on April 12

A special “Evening of the Arts” dinner will be held Thursday, April 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Newman Theatre of the Walter Arts Center in honor and celebration of those members in the Schureman Circle Giving Society. The evening program will include special arts performances by Holland Hall students in Primary, Middle and Upper Divisions.

Schureman Circle supporters of the Annual Fund are those dedicated parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends who give $1,000 or more in a fiscal year to the Holland Hall Annual Fund. They give generously so that our students continue to receive the highest quality education available anywhere.

If you have any questions on how to become a member of the Schureman Circle, please contact Amy Whitaker at awhitaker@hollandhall.org or (918) 481-1111, Ext. 766.

The Schureman Circle supporters of the Annual Fund are those dedicated parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends who give $1,000 or more in a fiscal year to the Holland Hall Annual Fund. They give generously so that our students continue to receive the highest quality education available anywhere. Annual Fund donations provide for supplies and programs that tuition alone does not fund, things like field trips, arts programs, college counseling and more. There is a Schureman Circle recognition event held each year to honor society members.

The Woman Behind the Name: Winnefred Schureman

In 1922 Miss Winnifred Schureman, Holland Hall’s first headmistress, was charged with presiding over a “fully equipped college preparatory school of the highest standing, where each student may receive individual attention, within the reach of any citizen in Tulsa.” The school was to “not only prepare students to enter the highest instructions of the country but also to be useful members of society.” Though the wording has changed, our mission remains largely the same.
