US Council
The Upper School Council is a division of the Holland Hall Parents’ Association. It is comprised of parents who volunteer to serve as grade coordinators and liaisons for Upper School activities. Starting this school year, our meetings will be held on the third Thursday of each month at varying times (8:20 a.m., 12 noon and 2 p.m.) to accommodate the schedules of the Upper School parents. Meeting will be held in the Upper School after Morning Meeting, as well as in the Middle School Alumni Center. Mr. Calkins, the Head of Upper School, attends the meetings and provides information about Upper School events, curriculum, athletics and other pertinent issues. Guest speakers will be featured in certain months. In addition, the Council reports on grade specific as well as on campus wide activities.
Every Holland Hall parent, especially those with Upper School students are most welcome and encouraged to attend! Please plan to join us each month to share your ideas, gain information, and connect with other Holland Hall Upper School parents.

The Upper School Parents’ Association is responsible for the following activities:
· New Parent Network – Call new parents to welcome them to Holland Hall Upper School and answer questions.
· Fine Arts – Assist with Upper School art exhibits and concert receptions.
· Student Activities Committee – Help plan and chaperone 5th Quarter parties.
· Hospitality – Assist with providing food for Teacher/Staff appreciation days.
· Grade Coordinators – Plan grade specific activities and communicate with parents.
In addition to these activities, the Parents’ Association also has liaisons to the various fundraising event committees. The Upper School Parents’ Association meetings are held every third Thursday of each month:
