Volunteer Opportunities & Resources

Thank you for volunteering!

Volunteers are critical to Holland Hall and play an integral role in our community. We are thankful for you commitment, dedication and hard work and we look forward to working with you! Please visit the Policies/Forms and Resources page for more information on volunteer opportunities and to fill out the forms that are required from all volunteers. You can view that page here.

Primary School

  • Classroom Activity Volunteers – Assist with activities and events as needed.

  • Specials Volunteer – Assist in PE, Art, Music, etc.

  • Buddy Family – Welcome new families to your child’s grade.

  • Hospitality – Assist with providing food for Teacher/Staff appreciation days.

Middle School

  • Classroom Activity Volunteers – Assist with activities and events as needed.

  • Hospitality – Assist with providing food for Teacher/Staff appreciation days.

  • Lunchroom – Serve food to students and faculty, once a month. Volunteers are required to have current food handler permit.Training will be offered at school and must be renewed yearly.

  • Buddy Family – Welcome new families to your child’s grade and be available to answer questions.

  • Fine Arts – Assist with art exhibits and concert receptions.

Upper School

  • New Parent Network – Call new parents to welcome them to Holland Hall Upper School and answer questions.

  • Fine Arts – Assist with Upper School art exhibits and concert receptions.

  • Student Activities Committee – Help plan and chaperone 5th Quarter parties.

  • Hospitality – Assist with providing food for Teacher/Staff appreciation days.

Parent Ambassador

  • Opportunities – Assist with prospective parent tours, new parent calling campaign and annual Open House. Contact Richard Hart – 481-1111, ext. 740

Concession Stand

  • Opportunities – work during athletic events in school concessions stands. Volunteers are required to have current food handler permit. Training will be offered at school and must be renewed yearly.

Annual Fund

  • The purpose of the Annual Fund is to raise money to cover the difference between the cost of educating a child at Holland Hall and the income derived from tuition, endowment and investments.

    • Opportunities – Phon-a-thon caller (one time evening commitment)

Auction Golf

Book Fair*

  • The state’s largest used book sale.
  • Price and sort books and donations from August-February, work during set up, shift worker during the Fair-assist in cashiers, books, marshals, etc.
