Join Us for the Tandy Beam Signing!

You’re Invited!
Thursday, March 29, 2018
10 am – 1 pm, come and go

Holland Hall’s community is the foundation of the extraordinary Holland Hall experience. On March 29, you’re invited to join other members of the Holland Hall family—students, parents, alumni, and campaign donors—in signing your name on one of the Tandy construction beams, a tangible symbol of our belief that the members of our community are the structure and the strength of Holland Hall.

When you arrive on campus, please head to the construction site between the Middle School and the Walter Arts Center, and look for guest parking signs. Casual attire is appropriate as the Tandy is still an active construction site. We’ll have music, light refreshments, and hopefully beautiful weather, however in the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Wednesday, April 4, from 10am to 1pm.

Thank you again for your support of this largest-ever campaign in Holland Hall’s long history and for ensuring the future is bright for our students and faculty. We look forward to celebrating with you on March 29!

For more information about the Beam Signing event please contact Margie Warren Diaz at (918) 879-4720 or mdiaz@hollandhall.org.

The A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Dining and Wellness Center and Chapman Green

Designed to be a central part of the community, the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Dining and Wellness Center will be the focus of Holland Hall’s 162-acre campus. The new Marylouise Dining Hall will allow for all Upper and Middle School students to use the same dining facility. A centrally located and modernized kitchen will provide for a wider variety of healthy food choices, separate serving stations, and reduced cost of food production by combining two kitchens. The A.R. Wellness Center will house a wellness floor where our community will have access to updated facilities with an aim toward training the whole person. Research shows us that important learning happens outside the classroom. The Tandy will be a space for students and faculty to interact, study, and further engage with one another.

What’s included in the new A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Dining and Wellness Center:

  • The Chapman Green
  • Kitchen and Dining Area for Middle and Upper School students
  • A.R. Wellness Center
  • Alumni Center attached to a balcony overlooking Hardesty Field
  • Locker rooms, fitness training, and rehabilitation facilities
  • Meeting rooms and conference center for use by students, faculty, families, and the community

The Chapman Green

The Chapman Green provides the backdrop for what we hope all students experience at Holland Hall. As an extension of our focus on strong, healthy community relationships, the green provides a comfortable, inviting space for students, faculty, and families to engage with one another around storied school events like Field Day and Primary School Night. The Chapman Green also invites casual interactions and connections outside of the traditional school walls. Just as the Upper School Barnard Commons has helped create friendships that last lifetimes, the Chapman Green will extend those possibilities, building on the strength of Holland Hall’s close-knit community.
