Holland Hall’s campus hums with active learning, both in and out of the classroom.
Enriching afterschool activities, events, service opportunities, and special interest clubs keep our students engaged with fresh ideas and involved with each other.
In the Middle School, our students participate in many para-academic clubs like Lego Robotics, the Science Team, and MathCounts—opportunities for them to apply what they’ve learned in class to the real world in fun, competitive ways. Our middle schoolers also stretch campus life far beyond our physical plant, by participating in our beloved “School Out of Doors” curriculum and making trips to South America and Europe.
Our Upper School students also travel the world together and, closer to home, participate in activities ranging from a cappella and astronomy meetups to the microfinance club, model UN, and a slam poetry group. Upper school groups and clubs are formed and managed primarily by students themselves, which gives our young men and women vital leadership and organizational experience and means group offerings always reflect the most current interests of our student body.
Connecting these wide-ranging activities — and defining our campus culture — you find our collective spirit of intellectual curiosity, academic energy, and mutual support, which makes Holland Hall campus life a richly rewarding and fulfilling experience for all.
