Common Ground Campaign – Did You Know…our architect for the Tandy building is a Holland Hall alumna?
Cara Shimkus Hall, a 1984 graduate, is an owner and architect for GH2 Architects. The firm, which also includes Cara’s husband Michael as a principal and architect, has completed 3500 projects in 48 states and 13 countries, none of which matter more to Cara than the Tandy. Cara said, “As a student in the Upper School in the 1980’s, I knew that I would become an architect. As a Holland Hall alumna and parent of two Holland Hall students, the privilege of designing this transformational project for my alma mater is an experience that I will truly treasure forever.”
In addition to having GH2’s extensive, award-winning design experience, we are lucky to have Cara on board to make sure the Tandy will be not only a beautiful and functional building but will also have the look and feel that makes it uniquely “Holland Hall.”
If you missed the Tandy Hard Hat tours this week and would like to see the construction progress, view the live construction feed or contact Margie Warren Diaz at (918) 879-4720 or firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a tour.
