Costa Rica Trip – Cultural Immersion, Service Learning and Adventure!

We are thrilled to announce that Holland Hall is partnering again with Sustainable Horizon to offer an amazing 10 day trip to Costa Rica next spring, March 14-23, 2019. This opportunity is open to current 6th through 10th grade Spanish students who are ready to take learning outside the classroom for an unforgettable international experience.

Holland Hall students and teachers will immerse themselves in Costa Rican culture living in a rural home-stay community, working hand in hand with community members on a meaningful service project, interacting with the local youth, and participating in exciting excursions (a waterfall hike in private reserve, a hot springs visit, a zip-lining and horseback riding tour and a visit to the Arenal Volcano National Park). What a better way to spend Spring Break while making memories that will last a lifetime?

Space will be limited to 15 students, and there is an application process. Accepted students who enroll by May 25 will be guaranteed a spot.

Interested parents and students should plan to attend the information meeting this coming Tuesday, May 1 at 6:30 pm in the Middle School Library.

To learn more, contact Spanish teacher Janice Moore at jmoore@hollandhall.org.
