Preschoolers Learn About China

Holland Hall Preschoolers explored the customs and literature of China during the month of January. They learned about the Lion Dance, pandas, how to say "hello" and "Happy New Year" in Chinese and practiced Chinese numerals in the writing center. The unit culminated with a Chinese lunch complete with chopsticks and fortune cookies.

Second Grade Performs Fairy Tale Plays

The second grade performed their Fairy Tale plays in the Branch Theatre on Friday, February 3. The second grade performed many classic Fairy Tales including Hansel and Pretzel, Three Billy Goats Gruff, The Princess and the Pea, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Sleeping Beauty, the Wolf’s side of the Three Little Pigs, Cinderella, and more. 

The Second Graders also performed nursery rhymes and Little Red Riding Hood in Spanish. READ MORE

Striving for Historical First

Eight Holland Hall students and Holland Hall faculty Neil Bergenroth are planning a trip to represent Tulsa at the Henley Royal Regatta in the United Kingdom with the Tulsa Rowing Club Juniors . This is the first time in the history of the sport that a high school crew from Oklahoma will be represented at this prestigious event. READ MORE

Third Graders Volunteer at
Local Food Bank

Third grade students at Holland Hall volunteer their time at the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Throughout the school year, these students visit the distribution center and perform a variety of tasks that help enable the food bank to distribute food to more than 440 partner programs. Recently, the students packaged a grand total of 1,207 pounds of pinto beans as well as macaroni noodles.
