Regular lunch service is back!

The Servery in the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Dining and Wellness Center will reopen this school year, and there will be a streamlined process for adding funds to accounts.Instead of individual student accounts, families will have one debit account that will work for all students in a household.Prices will remain the same:

  • PK – $5
  • K – 3rd – $5.75
  • 4th-12th – $7 for the daily Meal Deals (Entree, 2 sides and a cup/dispenser drink of water or juice)
  • Individual items available at à la carte prices

Get your new Dutch Day gear

The DutchZone inside the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Dining and Wellness Center will be open on Thursdays and Fridays with lots of new gear. Hours are 8-10 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.Come in for T-shirts, hoodies and more items that are perfect for Dutch Days, when students can wear any shirt from the DutchZone with jeans or other nonathletic pants. Dutch Days are every Friday. DutchZone outerwear in black, gray, white, red and Columbia blue with a logo can be worn over uniform shirts during the school day.

DutchZone volunteers needed!

The DutchZone is looking for volunteers! The store will be open on Thursdays and Fridays this school year contingent on volunteer availability. Volunteers will receive a 20% discount monthly during their shift. This year, local retailer C&J School Uniforms has added an online store! Buy shirts, skirts, outerwear and more at https://tulsa.myaplusuniforms.com/collections/holland-hall-private-school-1, or make sure to visit the store in the Fontana Shopping Center, 4984 S. Memorial Drive.New this year, Holland Hall has partnered with online retailer Lands' End for select items. Families in the Primary School can find white shirts with the Holland Hall logo, and all students can find select skirts. skorts and outerwear that are uniform-approved. Holland Hall's Centennial Committee has been hard at work planning a year's worth of celebrations for our community. Keep checking Dutch Weekly for the latest.

Save the date

Convocation — an all-school ceremony that starts with a student parade around Hardesty Field and ends with a rally in the Walter Arts Center — is set for Friday, August 27. For the centennial celebration, families are invited to watch the opening festivities from the football stands. The Walter Arts Center ceremony will be broadcast on the new video scoreboard. Then families will leave before students enjoy a morning of carnival games and pizza.

Convocation volunteers needed

While the Middle and Upper school students are enjoying games and pizza on the Chapman Green for Convocation, the Primary School will have its own celebration. And there's one way for parents to watch.Primary School students will celebrate with a big carnival on Convocation day — Friday, August 27. We have many volunteer opportunities to set up, break down, and supervise carnival stations. Shifts by grade are described so parents can sign up during the time slot during which their child is visiting the carnival. Go to the Signup Genius to pick your time!

New family open house set

Save the date for the Open House for all New to Holland Hall Families on Tuesday, August 17, from 8:30-10 a.mNew students in 6th-8th grades will get their school iPads on that Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the MS Library. 

First day of school coffee for Middle School parents

Join old friends and new for a coffee to celebrate the start of the school year.

Special Middle School lunches

A "picnic" lunch is provided for all Middle School students on Thursday, August 19. Regular lunch service in the Tandy will begin on Friday, August 20.A pizza lunch also will be provided for all MS Students on Convocation, August 27.

Upper School / College Counseling

New Student/Parent Orientation — for all families who are new to Holland Hall

Tuesday, August 17, from 9:30-11 a.m., we welcome all students who are new to Holland Hall and their families to come to the main doors of the Upper School where we will provide you with your schedule, your locker, and we will take you to meet with your advisor. We hope you will spend some time finding your classrooms, settling into your locker, chatting with your advisor, and getting any and all questions answered! This open house overlaps with the one going on in the middle school from 8:30-10 a.m. so we welcome families with students in both branches to head to the middle school first and the upper school afterwards!

Class of 2022: Senior Retreat

Seniors are invited to come to the Newman theater (Black box) in the WAC to kick off the senior retreat at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17. We will do some bonding and leadership activities. After that, seniors have time to decorate the Commons before the first day of school. There will be a special treat, and we will wrap up by 3 p.m. On the first day of school, seniors are permitted to be out of uniform for their theme. They are asked to be appropriate for school. Masks will be required for this event.

August 18 - First day of school

  • Regular Dress Code
  • Start Time: 8:45 a.m.
  • Dismissal Time: 11:45 a.m.
  • Fully charged laptop
  • Feel free to bring anything you would like to go ahead and put in your locker.
  • We will have an extended morning meeting, advisory meetings, photo stations for student ids, and class meetings. Students will receive schedules, move into lockers, get to know one another, and celebrate the start of the school year.

August 19-20: Community Retreat and 9th Grade Orientation

  • Dress: Comfortable clothing with athletic shoes; be sure to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray and possibly a hat, as we will be spending time outdoors with all grades
  • Normal School hours (8 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.)
  • Both days begin with Morning Meeting in the Commons for grades 9-12
  • Grades 10, 11, and 12 have a Community Retreat; students need a writing utensil (they do not need their computers or their school books)
  • Grade 9 has an extended orientation. Both days begin with a Technology session, so 9th-graders should arrive with a fully charged laptop
  • Lunch will be provided, free of charge, on both of these days
  • These are required days of school that will be filled with important information for the school year.
