Four athletes signed with colleges on Wednesday’s National Signing Day during a ceremony in the US Commons.

Hunter Collier, football: Missouri S&T (Rolla, Missouri).

Hunter plans on studying mechanical engineering.

“I picked Missouri S&T because of how good the school will set me up for my future and the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love.”

Megan Kalapura, golf: Middlebury College (Middlebury, Vermont)

Megan plans to study economics on the pre-med track.

“It’s an institution where I know I can be challenged both academically and athletically. I wanted to go to a smaller school in the Northeast.”

Ames Wheeler, football: St. Olaf (Northfield, Minnesota)

Ames will study Political Science on the pre-law track.

“St. Olaf will challenge me academically, it values community, and still competes at a high level athletically.”

Marley Wilkerson, field hockey: Washington & Lee (Lexington, Virginia)

Marley will major in biology on a pre-Physician Assistant track.

“When I began my college search I knew I wanted to play field hockey, but even more importantly I wanted a community that reflected one of Holland Hall’s. Walking around campus at W&L everyone said hello and was exceptionally friendly, which made me feel like I belonged.”
