Expect traffic delays next week
We know many families use Yale Avenue, between 81st and 91st streets, to get to school. That stretch of road will be completely closed beginning March 28.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation expects the road to be closed for 120 days, so please start planning altenate routes.
Free Dress Day for Primary School
Monday, March 28, will be a free dress day for everyone in the Primary School, as declared by the PS Head for a Day Ryan Weikle '31.

Bring your pup to school Saturday
Get to know other families and explore the school's beautiful 162-acre campus on the Ulti-Mutt Family Dog Trail Walk — set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26. This casual event is sponsored by the Parents Association.
Come anytime between 10 a.m.-2 p.m. to catch up with classmates, other parents, and old friends as well as make new friends (both two-legged and four-legged.)
A couple of notes: Please keep your pet leashed, stay off playing fields and scoop and dispose of your pets' poop.
Water and treats for dogs as well as trail maps will be available by the Tandy Concession Stand.

2022 Yearbooks for all
In honor of the school's centennial, every student will receive a copy of the yearbook at the end of the year. That's why you have not seen sales information during this school year. Watch for instructions in April about distribution and pickup.

Registration starts April 1 for Holland Hall Summer Programs. Copies of the Summer Programs catalog will be sent home with students after Spring Break, but you can see an electronic version now at hollandhall.org/summer.

Don't miss the party of the next century
Experience the magic of Gezellig on April 9. Gezellig is a Dutch word that is loosely translated to mean "cozy, warmth, friendship," words that are perfect for the Holland Hall community — and for our biggest event of the year.
Expect an elegant evening of dancing, Dutch drinks and food, music under a tent on the beautiful east side of campus behind the Primary School. Plus a variety of raffles, sign-up parties and a brief live auction.

Field Hockey Spring Clinic
The University of Michigan Field Hockey Staff is hosting a spring clinic on Hardesty Field on Saturday, April 23, 2022! Open to all interested 4th-12th graders! Michigan Wolverine Head Field Hockey Coach and two-time Olympian Marcia Pankratz will lead the clinc! All abilities welcome!

All American Girl Soiree!
Celebrate the upcoming holidays with your American Girl! Join Mrs. Bucholtz and Mrs. Gollihare once a month for the next three months for some after school fun! Get ready for sweet treats and some crafting for you and your special doll. We will celebrate St. Patrick's Day, Easter, & Mother's Day. Don't miss the party! We look forward to seeing you there! 7th Grade Downtown Tulsa Studies
Downtown Tulsa Studies has been a pillar of the 7th grade educational experience, and we are delighted to offer such an opportunity to our students this year after lockdowns and shutdowns and a disruption to our traditional school year.

Day of Service
It's that time of year again. The Executive Student Council of the Middle School has been working hard to plan our Annual Day of Service.
On Wednesday, March 30, students will arrive at school and load up buses to spend the day giving of themselves. Some of the locations we plan to assist at are The Oasis Market, Emergency Infant Services, Tulsa Dream Center, Bixby Outreach Center, and Catholic Charities.
Who: All 4th-8th grade students and staff
What: Day of Service
When: Wednesday, March 30
Where: a variety of off-campus locations
Why: As our Mission Statement says, "we seek to foster in each student a strong moral foundation and a deep sense of social responsibility."
Dress: HH Centennial T-shirt (or any red HH shirt) with appropriate work pants and shoes (jeans and tennis shoes are a good idea)
Middle School Parents' Association April meeting moved
The MS PA Meeting scheduled for April 5 has moved to April 12 at Noon.
Planning ahead for the end of the school year
Final Exams for 6th-8th grades
May 18-20 will be final exams for 6th-8th grade students.
Exams each day will begin at 9 a.m.
On Wednesday and Thursday, exams will end at 12:30 p.m. Students should bring a snack and no lunch will be served.
On Friday, exams will end at 11 a.m. Make-up exams will take place on Friday afternoon.
Last days of school for 4th & 5th grades
4th and 5th grades will have regular school days on Wednesday, May 18, and Thursday, May 19. 4th and 5th grade students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 20.
8th Grade Promotion
8th grade students will stay after their last exam on Friday, May 20, for an end-of-year lunch with faculty and a quick rehearsal for their promotion ceremony. They should be picked up at the Tandy at 12:30 p.m.
The 8th grade promotion ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 20 in the Branch Theatre. Following the ceremony, there will be a dance/party for the students to celebrate.
Upper School / College Counseling
College Deans' Event - Monday, March 28
We will have three Deans of Admissions from colleges on campus. We will run a Late-Start Schedule:
8 a.m.: Morning Meeting
8:15 - 9 a.m.: 9th - 11th grade students in an assembly with Deans of admissions
9 a.m.: 12th-graders get a sleep-in and must arrive by 9 a.m.

ISAS 2022 Regional Arts Festival
Friday, April 1 - Saturday, April 2
Select Upper School Arts Students will travel to Heritage Hall School in Oklahoma City to participate in a smaller version of the annual ISAS Arts Festival. This regional festival will feature performing and visual arts from Holland Hall, Wichita Collegiate, Riverfield, Casady, and Heritage Hall schools. Final details will be emailed to participating students and families as soon as possible.
Course Requests/Curriculum Guide
At family conferences, advisors will start discussing course offerings and selections. This is just the beginning of the process: all final decisions on course selections for next year will need to be complete by March 30. Please see the link below for our updated curriculum guide.

Freshman Orientation this spring
We are excited to announce that we will run the Freshman Orientation program this spring for the class of 2025. Half the class will go on the trip Thursday, April 28 - Saturday, April 30 and the other half of the class will go from May 1 - May 3. This longstanding tradition involves a camping trip to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, led by upperclass students and accompanied by faculty, as a means of reinforcing communal values to our 9th grade students. The Class of 2022 will be doing their senior internships this spring! We are thrilled to announce the return of this graduation requirement and a wonderful opportunity for our students to engage in "real world" experiences for 40 hours at the end of their senior year. Graduation announcements/class rings
On Nov. 18, Jostens met with the senior class to give them information about graduation announcements and class rings. We wanted to make sure that the information made it home to parents (there was a print packet that was handed out: Nancy O'Neil has extra copies if you'd like one).
