From the Head of School: Mask policy changes

Weekly, Holland Hall reviews our local Covid data and the school's internal data against the published temporary mask policy we shared in August. Since the first day of school we have experienced 10 known cases of Covid on campus, and eight individuals have entered our Covid protocols. Our data also suggests we've had no transmission on campus. With local cases below 30 per 100,000, we are moving into the middle range of our policy. This means vaccinated individuals may choose whether or not to wear a mask during the school day. Unvaccinated individuals, for now, should remain masked. Again, we will assess our approach against the numbers weekly.Read Head of School JP Culley's entire masking message here.

A reminder for the pick-up line

In the delicate dance that is the Primary School pick-up and drop-off line, there are some rules to follow to keep everyone going where they need to be.Please remember that the inside lane — next to the Penguin — is reserved for third-grade parents.Third-grade parents, please remember to yield to the other lanes, who are going around you to get to the PS drive and the EPK circle drive.Thank you!

Safety reminder

The Primary School staff is happy to make arrangements to store a carseat or booster seat for the day if someone other than you is picking up your child. State lawrequires primary school-aged children to be in a carseat, even if driving only a short distance away.
